Security Tools

Terms

Last updated: July 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of Security Tools, including the free tools and the Pro subscription. By using the site, you agree to use the tools responsibly and to evaluate all generated or decoded output before relying on it.

Use of the service

Security Tools provides utility software for password generation, passphrase generation, password strength estimation, entropy calculation, hashing, UUID generation, Base64 conversion, and JWT decoding. The tools are provided for informational and operational convenience and are not a substitute for a full security review.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use generated passwords, hashes, UUIDs, decoded tokens, and other output. You should not paste sensitive production credentials, tokens, or confidential data into any tool unless you understand the risk and are using a trusted device and network.

JWT decoder limitation

The JWT Decoder decodes token header and payload data only. It does not verify signatures, validate issuers, validate audiences, check key rotation, or prove that a token is authentic. Do not treat decoded JWT content as trusted unless it has been verified by your own application or security process.

Free and Pro plans

The free version may show ads and may include practical limits on batch generation. The Pro subscription is offered at $3/month and is intended to remove ads and increase applicable limits. Subscription management and payment processing are handled through Stripe.

Availability and changes

Security Tools may change, add, or remove tools and features over time. We aim to keep the service fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent feature availability, or that every tool output is appropriate for every use case.

No warranties

The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Security Tools disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Security Tools is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, credentials, business, or security posture arising from your use of the service.
